Islamabad: Pakistani Prime Minister has met with Iranian President Ebrahim Relision in Afghanistan.
Statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Friday said the two leaders met in the side of the Shanghai cooperation organization meeting in the city of Dushanbe Tajikistan.
Discussions centered on Afghanistan and other bilateral problems, with Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan underlined his country’s vital interests in Afghanistan who were peaceful, stable and prosperous.
Khan visited Tajikistan to participate in a meeting of Chinese organizational members and dominated by Russia.
Afghanistan’s future has dominated the Summit.
The Taliban confiscated Afghan’s control last month.
So far Pakistan, like other countries, has not recognized new governments.
Pakistan said that every decision will be announced after consulting the world community.
According to the statement, Khan said it was very important to take an urgent step to stabilize the security, humanitarian and economic situation of Afghanistan.
