Jammu: All schools in the Leh District are closed for 15 days since Saturday after Ladakh reported 71 fresh Covid-19 cases, the highest single-day increase in the last time for two months, officials said at 20,702, officials said.

Officials said three covid patients – two in Leh and one in Cargil – was released after successful treatment, taking the total number of patients who were cured to 20,386.
Ladakh has registered 207 deaths related to Covid – 149 in Leh and 58 in Cargil – since last year’s pandemic outbreak.
