Lucknow: The first set of Kanpur Metro train wrapped in Savefron departing from Savli’s manufacturing plant, Gujarat on Saturday for ten days traveling through the road to Uttar Pradesh.

All costs of the Kanpur Metro project are estimated at RS 11076.48 Crore which must be completed within five years.

According to UPMRC, Kanpur and Agra will have a three-set coach for each train.

At present, only Lucknow Metro has facilities to run six trainers, but operates four coaches in one Metro.
For Agra Metro, Alstom will provide 28 metro trains.
On December 7, 2020 construction for Metro Agra began to base stone laying foundations carried out by PM Narendra Modi through video conferencing.
The Metro Agra project has two corridors that connect to all the main points in Agra.
The first corridor was between Sikandara to Taj East Gate which had a total length of 14 km and 13 stations (six elevated and seven underground).
The second corridor is between Agra Cantt to Kalindi Vihar has a total length of 15.4 km and 14 stations, all elevated.
The total estimation of project costs is Rs 8,379.62 Crore.
According to the UPMRC, under the corridor, a six-kist priority corridor has been marked between Taj East Gate & Jama Mosque consisting of three high stations and three underground stations.
