Mumbai: The Directorate of Enforcement in Chargeshets against Khadse’s Eknath accused the former BJP leader, who is now with NCP, from “Layering RS 50 Lakh, who was received from various sources including RS 15 Lakh cash, from his bank account to a wife’s bank account, claiming as not stained And finally utilizing Rs 38 Lakh to buy MIDC land.
“Kin Khadse spent a total of Rs 5.53 Crore for land transactions (RS 3.75 Crore paid to sellers and Rs 1.78 Crore as stamp duty).
Of the total expenditure, Khadse Mandakini’s wife appointed Rs 2.38 Crore (Hospital 2 Crore from Shell Company, Benchmark Buildcon Pvt Ltd, as a unsecured loan and RS 38 lakh RS 50 lakh he received from Khadse).
On the other hand, Khadse’s son-in-law, Girish Chaudhari collected Rs 3.15 Crore, where RS 2 Crore is a unsecured loan from the Buildcon benchmark.
Ed stated that Kin Khadse paid RS 4 Cash Crore which was polluted into the Buildcon benchmark, which led money and transferred it to Mandamini and Chaudhari as a loan without a guarantee.
Chargesheet said Chaudhari prepared forged loan documents forged to show Rs 4 Crore as a loan from benchmarks.
In his statement to Ed, Khadse said that he did not realize his wife and son-in-law purchased MIDC land.
He also told them that the transfer of Rs 50 Lakh from his account to Mandakini was a normal financial transaction between husband and wife.
Ed Chargesheet stated that “Khadse’s Eknath is the mastermind of the conspiracy made for (sic) forbidden purchases from MIDC’s land on behalf of Mandakini and Chaudhari in much lower, namely RS 3.75 Crores from the actual value of Rs 22.83 Crores to achieve the hidden motive for Getting compensation for land at the true market value of the Maharashtra government according to the new land acquisition law.
“Chargesheet stated that to get compensation, Khadse became instrumental in the purchase of prohibited MIDC land and pressure the true value.
Khadse was the income minister in the previous government led by BJP in Maharashtra when alleged violations took place in 2016.
The police have registered a case for an investigation and submitted a closing report in this case.
The court has not made a decision about police reports.
After controversy, Khadse was forced to resign.
Last October, Khadse left BJP and joined NCP.
Ed had registered money laundering cases based on the police fir police and on July 7 this year, they arrested Chaudhari in this case.
He is currently in Judicial custody.
