Lucknow: The number of people who are fully vaccinated at Uttar Pradesh reached a 11% mark on Sunday.
This means that one in ten people in this country is now fully vaccinated.
According to data from the Cowin portal, the total vaccinated person reached 1.66 Crore which was more than 11.12% achievement of the 15.04 crore target.
The number of first dose participants reached 7.57 crores which were 51.5% achievement.
Experts, however, believe that there is a need to encourage people to advance and take their maturity doses.
Meanwhile, 17 new cases and 12 recovery were reported in the last 24 hours.
New cases took the state counting to 17.09.669 where 16,86,584 had recovered while 22,887 had died.
Data shows that the state recovery rate is 98.7% and the mortality rate is 1.3%.
The country is left with 198 active cases.
Official bulletins indicated that 52.5% of active cases were in seven districts namely Lucknow (25), Prasagraj (22), Bareilly (21), Gorakhpur (10), Gautam Budh Nagar (9) and Deoria (8).
Also, new cases were reported in 10 districts.
