The K-pop BTS superstars, which have been appointed as ‘special presidential envoys for future generations and cultures’, delivered a
Strong speech and moving in the 76th United Nations General Assembly.
The band, consisting of RM, V, Jimin, Jin, Jungkook, J-Hope and Suga shared their thoughts about the Covid-19 crisis, the need for direct climate action, the stories of youth and hopes for a brighter future.
Introduced by the President of the Republic of Korea Moon Jae-in, BTS shared their comments during the Moment of SDG (Sustainable Development Objectives) as a representative of young people today.
This is the third time the band gave a speech at the United Nations after their previous appearance in 2018 and 2020.

TS further discusses young people who dare to challenge themselves to live a better life and the community has a positive impact.

According to the official UN page, this video is intended to attract the attention of the audience to the importance of sustainable development goals and to inspire action.
Music performance sees the band singing at the General Assembly Hall, and then moves to the lobby.
BTS comes out individually through seven doors to the square where they continue to showcase their dance movements dripping in bright energy.
Epic performance is closed with a band that does the “international sign” movement for “joy,” “dancing,” and “peace” with dancers in North Lawn.
