New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Monday asked the center to provide details of the policy framework and steps taken to prioritize Covid Vaccination with disabilities and scientific studies carried out to determine the safety protocol for pregnant and breastfeeding women’s inoculation.
Applicant Evara Foundation, an NGO, argued before Judge Dy Chandrachud and BV Nagaratha that IMA had recommended vaccination from people from people with disabilities but only Jharkhand and Kerala applying this.
The bench issues a notification to the center and looks for answers to the answer in two weeks.
Apart from easy access to vaccination centers, preferably the door vaccination to the door, the Petitioner, through Advocates Pankaj Sinha, also looking for setting helpline vaccination specifically for disabled people.
The APEX court also entertained the petition submitted by the Delhi Commission to protect the rights of children who were looking for directions to the center to conduct scientific studies to understand the effects of covid vaccination in pregnant and breastfeeding women.
It was looking for responses from the middle on the pill in two weeks.
