Hyderabad: The cruise boating event will be carried out by the Indian Navy to popularize sailing sports.
As part of the Azadi Warning Activities of Amrit Mahotsav, Indian Navy, under the AEGIS Indian Navy Sea Association, will carry out sailing regattas.
Also, the screen parade with sailboat and dinghies in the three locations of headquarters to popularize sailing sports among the local population has been planned.
The first event is scheduled to be carried out by the Indian Naval Watermanship Training Center, Kochi in the Ernakulam channel on September 23.
A total of 75 naval personnel will participate and show off their cruise skills during the event.
The flag officer ordered in the head, South Naval Command, will be the main guest for the event.
The Indian naval sailing vessels, sailing boats and Dinghies sailing command of the South Navy will take part in the race and screen parade.
Azami Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Mumbai and Visakhapatnam are also scheduled to be held in October and November.
