Gurugram: Towards Bandh Bharat on September 27, Farmers in Gurugram will arrange ‘Rally Mashaal’ on September 25 to collect support for it.
The call for bandh was given by Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM).
The rally will start at 6pm from aware of the bazaar and end up at Sohna Road.
The pamphlet will be circulated and the shop owner will be asked to go down the window on the Bandh day.
During the rally, farmers will also highlight how new agricultural laws pose a threat to them.
“Nearly 200 people will join the rally.
Farmers are ‘Anna Datas’ and we need to stand up with them in this crisis,” said Anil Pawar, all members of the Indian congress trade (AITC).
A similar campaign was being carried out in the neighboring district of Haryana Selatan, including Rewari, Noah, Mahendergarh, Palwal and Bhiwani, to raise awareness about the event.
“We have written a letter to shop owners and traders who ask them to join bandh by closing their shops and businesses for a day.
We also held a meeting,” said Samay Singh, Bku District President (Chaduni), Rewari.
Local Panchayats will also be held on Wednesday at Rewari’s Sheoraj Majra Village where the committee will be formed.
“Six local pancidayats have been held and two more will be held in the next two days.
Members of these committees will visit the house to spread the message,” Singh added.
The farmers also planned to protest in Rohtak-Bawal Road Toll Plaza on September 27.
