Class IX, XI failed to answer 2022 exam boards: Goa Board

Panaji: In the unique initiative, the secondary education council to Goa was looking for students who failed in class IX and XI during the last academic year to appear as a personal candidate for class X and XII public exams in 2022.
The Board said that this was a concession once given Because of the pandemic and has called for public advice about the scheme.
Because the Board has revised the scheme for personal candidates for 2021-22, these students will get the help of internal assessment components throughout the year, which will be taken into account when calculating the results of class X and XII, said Chairman of the Code of Goa Bhagirath Shetye.
“The goa board from higher and medium middle and secondary education, in the annual general body meeting held on September 18, after broad consideration, decided to seek the opinions of stakeholders and the general public whether to allow class IX and class XI of the 2020 academic year -2021, to appear as a personal candidate in the next public examination 2021-2022 each for class X and class XII, “the council said in his notification.
This can be a one-time size for students considering the Covid-19 pandemic situation, the Board has stated.
“The advice received will be placed before the committee is based on deciding this problem.
Suggestions must be sent to sec.gbshse.goa@gmail.com, the latest on September 24,” the notification rang.
