Thane: Kalyan and Dombivli twin cities in the Thane Maharashtra district continue to report Spurt in the new Covid-19 case.
On Wednesday, cities report 72 new cases of Coronavirus, according to the latest data by Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC).
Most cases emerged in Kalyan West (21), followed by 20 in Dombivli East, 15 in Kalyan Timur and seven in West Dombivli.
Seven positively tested in the Manda-Titwala region, while two contracted viruses in the Mohane area.
Also, two more deaths were reported within the KDMC limit.
On the other hand, 49 people recovered from infection on Wednesday, taking the total recovery amount to 1,38,859.
At present, 636 patients underwent treatment for Covid-19 in Kalyan and Combined Dombivi.
