Moscow: Special Representatives of Pakistan Russia and China agree with the Taliban to maintain contact on recent consultations in Kabul, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday.
“A agreement is reached to maintain constructive contact for the benefit of peace and prosperity of Afghanistan, and regional stability and development,” Sputnik news quoted the Russian Foreign Ministry.
The statement added that the Taliban emphasized their special focus on promoting relations with Russia, China and Pakistan.
This came when the 76th UN General Assembly (UNGA) which opened began high weeks starting on September 21.
The United States and all major countries around the world are waiting and watching the approach by recognizing the Taliban.
While other stakeholders held back to recognizing the new Taliban regime in Afghanistan, Pakistan was in a hurry to recognize and improve the caregiver of “Islamic Emirates”.
While nominating their DOHA spokesman Suhail Shaheen as the Afghan UN Ambassador, Taliban on Tuesday said that they wanted to overcome world leaders at the United Nations, reported media based in the UK.
Meanwhile, Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani urged world leaders not to boycott Taliban, reported Al Jazeera.
Emir who came to power from Qatar urged world leaders to gather at the United Nations against reversing their backs on the Ruler of the Afghan Taliban.
Al Thani stressed, “The sustainable needs of the dialogue with the Taliban because boycott only leads to polarization and reaction, while dialogue can bring positive results”.
