Hyderabad: The commission appointed by SC on Thursday showed several inconsistencies at the Shadnagar House Officer (SHO) station Sreedhar Kumar, which continued for the second day in a row.
The commission examined it further about medical examinations against the rape and murder accused, CCTV at the police station (PS) and arrested four of their villages.
However, Sho told the Commission that the medical team had conducted a higa case inspection accused of PS itself at special requests, however, in the disposal of diaries, it was stated that the potential test was carried out at the Shadnagar Hospital.
While referring to the answer to Sreedhar Kumar that CCTV cameras were in Shadnagar PS between November 28, 2019, (when the body of Disha was found in Chattanpally) and December 6, 2019, (when the four defendants were killed in suspected meetings), the advocate of Commission K Parameshwar caught his attention to Additional Director General (L & O), Jitender Report to the Commission, said that there was no CCTV camera available at Shadnagar PS during the period and requested his response.
“As per the record, the camera is in Shadnagar PS,” said Sreedhar Kumar.
During a cross examination, the only question caused by state advisers, V Surender Rao, related to response and Sho explained that CCTV cameras on PS were CCTV cameras.
At this point, Chairman of Commission vs.
Sirpurkar intervened and asked if there was a CCTV camera in Sadnagar PS during the period and Sreedhar Kumar confirmed that CCTV cameras were there.
Although Sho was claimed before the Commission that there was a 100-150 mafici meeting in Jaklair and 200-300 in Gudigandla villages, when they arrested four accused, the details were not recorded in the case of a diary.
Sreedhar Kumar also mentioned that he did not ask for the evidence of the age and identity of four who were accused of family members while arresting them because of the legal and order situation, but also not recorded in the case of a diary.
Police officers also admitted that referring to the four accused, after recording their concession statement on November 29, 2019, he mistakenly stated in a written statement that “was late at night, there was no recovery that was influenced by the day”.
Sreedhar Kumar also stated that two injured police shifted from the meeting site in Chattanpally on December 6, 2019, in a police vehicle as ‘108’ ambulance staff, who arrived there, was busy checking four accused.
