Kolkata: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday submitted a Chargesheet in Piracy Bhubaneshwar-Rajdhani Express on October 27, 2009, by supporters of clothing related to Maois.
The Investigation Agency has taken the case on April 1, 2020.
In a 50-page Chargesheet, Nia has provided details of the role played by 13 people accused by the key, including Chhatradhar Mahatamo, his brother Sashadhar Mahato, the leader of Maois Kishenji and Vikas.
The agency accused Chhatradhar was in prison in connection with different cases during the incident and planned train piracy to ensure his release as ranked.
The Committee of the Forbidden Organization of Police Cruelty, led by CPI (Maois), demanded the release of their imprisoned leaders, Chhatradhar Mahto, among others.
While Kishenji was killed in the 2011 meeting with the Commando Battalion for Resolute Action (COBRA), Sashadhar Mahanato was shot down the previous month.
Mahato was also the main suspect in the Disaster Jnaneswari Express.
Chhatradhar Mahatamo was released from prison by the state-month of the state government before the election of the State Assembly.
However, he was arrested on March 27, by Nia.
There were 30 more people, accused by the state investigation institution, against whom Nia could not get enough documents.
