Ranchi: The family member of the BJP leader who was killed by Jitram Munda was looking for a CBI investigation into the murder on Friday.
They made a request during a meeting with the state president and members of Rajya Sabha Deepak Prakash, former Chief of Minister Raghubar and Ranchi MP Sanjay Seth when they met family in their pintolence.
Prakash told the family that the BJP delegation would meet the Jharkhand Director General of the Regional Police to suppress the initial arrest of the perpetrators.
The BJP State President said that the legal and order situation had collapsed in the state, adding that BJP leaders and workers were targeted and killed.
He said the police used the cost of Lathi to perform peaceful demonstrations.
Raghubar Das also said that BJP workers are targeted at Jharkhand like West Bengal.
He demanded the initial arrest of criminals or party workers to be taken to the streets.
Munda was shot dead near the hotel in the village of Palu on Wednesday night.
