Coimbatore: The tension applies in Mettupalayam after two unknown people attacked Sworderkar Hindu officials Munnani, 35, when he was on his way to the office on the motorbike on Saturday night.
He was treated in a private hospital.
A police officer said Chandrasykar was the secretary of Urban Mettupalayam from Hindu Munnani.
Hundreds of cadres Munnani Hindu gathered in front of the hospital, where Chandrasek was undergoing treatment.
The police have it, while it increases to maintain the legal and order situation.
