KABUL: Taliban has forbidden hairdressers in Helmand Province Afghanistan from shaving beard or trimming, said a media report.
“The Taliban has banned stylish hairstyles and beard shavers in Helmand Province in South Afghanistan,” The Frontier Post reported quoting Taliban letters.
Further publications stated that officials from the Ministry of Islamic Orientation, at a meeting with representatives of men’s hair salons in the provincial capital, Lashkar Gah, suggested opposing hair and beard shavers.
Orders, distributed on social networks, also contain requests not to play music or praise songs in the place of hair salon, post border reported.
Meanwhile, the Taliban imposes repressive laws and retrograde policies.
They impose laws that define the government of 1996-2001 when they enforce their Islamic Islamic law.
