Coimbatore: East All-Woman Police on Saturday enrolled a case against a 22-year-old garment unit employee on charges of raping a 17-year-old little girl at his residence in Tirupur City.
A special team has been formed to catch it.
The police identified young people as Nagaraj, 22, from Tirupur.
The city based in the city is friends with Nagaraj through Facebook a few months ago and fell in love with him.
They swap their cellphone numbers and often talk to each other by telephone.
On August 23, the girl married to Nagaraj to get married.
When his parents went to their relatives’ house because of a pandemic and will return only after a few months, Nagaraj took the girl to his house and married her at the house itself.
He raped the girl for the past month repeatedly.
A few days ago, he consumed liquor and began to harass it.
The girl managed to escape from there and returned to her home in the city of Pocso’s sexual violation.
Meanwhile, the young man escaped and a special team was formed for Nab Nagaraj.
