Kolkata: CBI, investigating illegal coal mining in Bengal, making his first arrest in the case on Monday.
It caught Prime accusing AUP Majee’s Close Aides Jaydeb Mandal and Gurupada Majri regardless of two other feet.
Mandal allegedly runs all operations and also associated with several officials who helped carry coal.
Working with other groups led by Raju Jha, Mandal Switched Side after Majee took over operations at Aasyi and a side by side.
Back in 2011, the Mandal was arrested by the Kolkata Police Task Force.
The police arrested him when he came to the city suspected of being a weapon agreement.
Desired in several other illegal coal mining cases, Mandal hid in Malaysia, Singapore and Switzerland.
Investigators believe Majee uses mandal networks abroad in upholding illegal money.
Gurupada was allegedly involved in collecting payments on behalf of Majee.
He was arrested by CID in 2018 under the NDPS law.
The CBI arrested two more people – Narayan Kharka alias Narayan Nanda and Nirad Beral in this case.
“They are close colleagues who are accused and help in involving miners, regulating transporter and selling coal which is illegally excavated,” said a CBI official.
Majee has moved the Calcutta High Court, challenges CBI’s jurisdiction in an illegal coal investigation.
Then, he moved the Supreme Court and the APEX court ordered temporary protection.
In other developments, the CBI on Monday caught one balaram watershed from Pune.
The watershed was accused of alleged murder of BJP Palah Mandal workers in Kotwali, Nadia.
He was allegedly broken down into the Mandal House on June 14.
The victim was attacked with sharp weapons and later.
Mandal was taken to the Shaktinagar district hospital, where he was declared dead.
The CBI has submitted a cost sheet in the case of September 10 against 15 accused.
