NEW DELHI: The government has cautioned resorts against supplying stay-vaccination bundles after reports that a few hospitality industry players had begun coming up with those strategies.
Union health ministry Dr Harsh Vardhan tweeted:”Hotels that offer Covid-19 vaccination packages will face strict legal actions! These actions are in contravention to principles under the federal Covid vaccination plan and have to stop immediately.
” The Union health ministry composed to all countries on Saturday, saying it had come to a note that”several private hospitals would be providing packages for Covid Legislation in cooperation with a few resorts, which can be contrary to (principles ).
” The Centre has pointed out at the correspondence that there are four available choices for vaccination — authorities centers; personal hospitals; in private and government offices and”close to dwelling” centers for older and differently abled.
“Aside from this there’s not any other route to execute (Covid) vaccination.

consequently vaccination (being) completed in start resorts is contrary to recommendations and has to be ceased immediately.
Necessary administrative and legal activities must be initiated against these associations,” the correspondence from Union health ministry added secretary Manohar Agnani states.
