Jaipur: The middle-aged pair allegedly died of suicide by hanging himself from two trees in the Nagaur district in Rajasthan, the police said Wednesday.
Surjaram (45) and his wife Teeju Devi (42) went to their farm on Tuesday night and hung themselves from two trees, home stations, Ladnun police station, said Rajendra Singh.
“The reason for suicide is unclear.
Their sons and daughters, both of them are married.
The child in the Indian army posted in Jaisalmer and his wife was in his parents’ house when the incident happened,” he said.
The body is handed over to family members after postmortem, he added.
Meanwhile, in Dungarpur District, a man died by suicide Wednesday morning.
His wife went to take milk and he was sleeping.
When he returned after about 15 minutes, he found him hanging, police said.
He rushed to the hospital where the doctor said he died, the police said, added that the problem was being examined.
