8 stole Cigarettes worth RS 5L, held

Ghaziabad: Ghaziabad’s police ruined the gang of thieves and arrested eight people in the Sahibabad area.
Police have restored branded cigarettes worth Rs 5 Lakh, Rs 8 Lakh Cash and two four-wheeled, including Honda CRV and Swift, used for crime.
The defendant was identified as Sameer (21), Aamir (18), both of them from Sahibabad, Lakshya (21), a resident of Delhi while Bablu Saxena (42), Naseem (30), Pawan (25), Neeraj Katariya (45) is the original Ghaziabad .
Sameer and Amir are used to steal goods from industrial areas and give them to others, who will sell it with half the price.
SP City-2 Gyanendra Singh said that in July 2021, the defendant had robbed a Godown from a cigarette trader in the Sahibabad industrial area.
They have violated the wall limit failed to make entry and then robbed cigarettes worth several lakh.
“After stealing cigarettes, Amir and Sameer will hand him over to other gang members.
These people are used to sell cigarettes with half the price to the shop owner in Delhi-NCR,” he said.
All defendants were ordered under Section 380 (theft at home residential, etc.), 379 (penalty for theft), 457 (lurking home-violations or solving houses at night to commit punished violations in prison), 413 (usually dealing in property stolen) from IPC.
All the defendants were sent to detention after producing it in the Judge Court.
