AHMEDABAD: A 40-year-old guy from Mansa of all Gandhinagar was captured in the web of cops with fake currency notes of Rs 30L face value, largely in denomination of Rs 2,000 and Rs 500, stated officers.
He had supposedly printed the money notes to refund individual and bank loans.
Inspector Jatin Prajapati of Mansa police station stated that the accused Santosh Raval, resident of Panchalpura village had been halted by his group at Gram Bharti Crossroads if he was dying out there on his bike.
He explained that Raval was held before by Gandhinagar authorities in 2016 and 2017 instances where his bond was cancelled because he didn’t cover certain numbers as instructed from the court, and he was absconding since then.
When cops assessed the bag he was taking on his bike, they discovered it had been stuffed with notes.
