Salem: Chairman of the Minister of Tamil Nadu and President DMK M K Stalin on Saturday declared sadness over the leader of the King Veerapandi Party.
In his statement, Stalin said the king had served a party in the Salem area like a warrior with his father Veerapandi Arumugam.
Stalin said the death of the king was not a single man’s death.
“The pillar has fallen,” he said.
The king will live in the mind of party cadres.
“My deepest condolences to King’s family members and party cadres,” Stalin said.
The king has held several key positions at the party, including those from the organizers of the young wing district and district secretaries.
At present, he holds the past party election work committee.
He has become MLA in the Veerapandi assembly segment between 2006 and 11.
“The king will attract everyone with his gentle nature.
He will complete any assignment given,” Stalin said.
Stalin remembers his meeting with the king during his visit to the Salem district on Wednesday.
Stalin said he could not comfort himself when the party lost Veerapandi Cheziyan (king’s brother) at a young age.
“Then we lost Veerapandi Arumugam, and Thaivar Kalaivar could not control himself.
Kalaignar cries inconsistent at the entrance of the hospital.
Now we lose the king.
I do not know how to entertain his family,” he said.
