Dubai: Tropical Typhoon Shaheen killed four people while slamming to Oman on Sunday with ferocious winds and heavy rain, flooding, encouraging evacuation from coastal areas and delaying flights to and from the capital.

Two Asian workers were killed when a hill collapsed in their residential areas in the industrial zone, the state news agency reported.

More than 2,700 people are installed in an emergency shelter.
Most of five million people export oil lives in and around Muscat.
Authorities say the streets in the capital will open only for vehicles on emergency work and humanity to storms.
A wooden ship sank at the Port of Sultan Qaboos and his crew saved, the Emergency Management National Committee said on Twitter.
Preventive measures in the UAE, Saudi Arabia in the United Arab Emirates, authorities said preventive measures were being taken.
