Another previous survey in September revealed that the mosque clinic has assisted in increasing the social index in Osman Nagar.
About 65% of the population says that the cost of out-of-pocket that they have saved thanks to free treatment in the mosque has increased their food security and helps them meet children’s school costs, Askari said.
He said the area faced a double flood locking and induced by Covid, making life miserable for residents has been disturbed by poor infrastructure in their area.
Job losses, poor health, loss of property and displacement are found to be a common thread that runs in most households.
