Chennai: Heritage house in Veerasamy Street in Seven Wells, where Saint Vallalar 19th century life, is under renovation.
The state government has extended its support for these initiatives.
Located in the heart of the city, this building is currently managed by personal trust.
Hinduism Endowments and Hindu Amal (HR and CE) Minister P K Sekar Babu on Sunday visited the House of Ramalinga Adigalar, known as Vallalar.
He said that the blueprint for building a warning for Vallalar on a plot of 72 hectares in Vadalur (in Cuddalore Regency) was being prepared.
“Moreover, Vallalar’s house (in Chennai), where he lives, is under renovation.
The state government will expand all his support for that purpose,” he said.
A 19th-century Saint, Vallalar, who wrote ‘Thiruvarutpa’, spent around 33 years in this house since 1825.
DM Sripathi, a belief administrator retains the house saying that Vallalar was carried by close relatives as toddlers for rented houses This was in the 19th century.
“He lives on the first floor and sends spiritual discourse.
Vallalar wrote 5 of the 6 ‘Thirturai’ from this house from this house.” He added.
According to him, the renovation began 20 days ago.
