Pune: City-based Sarhad NGO will host the ‘Cargil Marathon’ on October 31 in Cargil in Leh Ladakh, after a two-year gap for security reasons and Pandemic Covid-19.
The theme will be ‘run for unity’.
“The theme song was written by a Prabhakiran Jain poet.
Army Chief of Staff General MM Naravane will virtually inaugurate it on October 5,” said Sanjay Nahar, founder of Sarhad.
About 300 people are expected to participate.
Krishna Prakash, Police Chief of Pimpri Chinchwad, will be a brand ambassador.
