Karur: A rowdy hacked to death by a gang near his house in Karuppathur in Karur Regency in Tamil Nadu early on Wednesday.
N Gopal, 45, Karupathur Village was killed at a farm near his residence at around 6am, the police said Lalam.
The gang surrounded the gopal and launched an attackless attack on him with a deadly weapon that made him die in place.
Top police officials, including Karur Supervisors from Police (SP) P Sundaravadive, rushed to place.
Preliminary questions revealed that some cases were delayed against the gopal in Karur Regency.
While the interrogation of the police to confirm the motive behind the murder, there was rumors that the gopal was loyalist from the leader of the clothes Dalit C Pasupathy Pandian from Dindigul who was killed by a gang in 2012.
The message of social media also mentioned that the gopal murder was the continuation of the murder of revenge which caused Nirmala Devi’s murder, 70, from Dindigul on September 22, 2021.
Nirmala Devi was accused of fifth in the murder of Pasupathy Pandian.
However, SP Sundaravadival denied any relationship between the murder of the Gopal and the Murder of Revenge of Nirmala Devi.
He said the motive behind the murder was being investigated.
