Nagpur: The Committee permanent NMC on Tuesday approved a repeat carpet of 15 roads in the city.
NMC will spend RS16 Crore for that purpose, the Chairman of the Standing Committee Prakash Bhoyar.

Bhoyar said the NMC Public Works Department has been instructed to issue a tender for the carpet back on poor streets.
In accordance with the proposal, two roads were selected in the Laxmi Nagar Zone, Zone Mangalwari, Hanuman Nagar, Dhantoli and Gandhibagh.
Similarly, one road will be carpeted again under the Dharampeth Zone, Satranjipura, Lakadganj Zone, Ashi Nagar and Nehru Nagar.
Bhoyar told Tii 15 roads chosen for complete reset carpet including Pratap Nagar Chowk to Orange City Street, Mangalmurti Chowk to Jaitala Bus Stop, Shraddhanand Peth Chowk to VNIT Bajaj Nagar to Ram Nagar, Omkar Nagar to Beltarodi, Krida Chowk to Apsara Chowk, Narendra Nagar Flyover to Wardha Road, Besa T-Point to Shatabdi Chowk, Bidipeth to Shahenshah Chowk to Ring Road, Ganesh Chowk to Central Avenue (Haji House) to Shaukar Ali Chowk to Central Avenue, Manipura Chowk to Lakdi Pilik Bus Ayachit.
, Daut Bazaar Railway Overbridge to Mehdibagh Railway Overbridge, Kumbhar Toli to Vaishnav Devi Chowk Road, Automotive Chowk to Mohammed Rafi Chowk to the Samparn Hospital, Jaripatka Police Station to Nara Village Bus Stop and Ashoka Hotel to Guman (Mount Road) to Building Building Chowk Bazaar (Link Road) goals.
According to him, 15 roads have not cared back for more than a decade now, and all these ways are in very bad conditions.
Over the years, the NMC Hotmix Department conducted repair or patchwork work.
The panel also provides administrative approval for eight other proposals related to improving civil facilities, including the construction of cement roads, putting storm water networks and playground development.
Administration will spend RS4.63 Crore on the work.
It also gave approval to extend the 96 civil police contract for a period of 11 months.
NMC will spend RS2.74 Crore for their payment for that period.
