Patna: The day after the National Vice President of RJD Shivanand Tiwari’s statement that the head of the party then Prasad Son Tej Pratap Yadav separated himself from RJD by floating new clothes, Congress state work, Dr.
Ashok Ram met with the last one here on Thursday.
The impromptu meeting between Tej Pratap and the Congress leader has determined the tongue to shake in the country’s politics.
Even though Tej Pratap’s close colleague tried to underestimate the meeting by describing it as a routine affair, political observer felt that it was an increasing indication of differences between the two brothers – Tej Prasad and Tejashwi Prasad Yadav.
The meeting assumed significance after cracking between Congress and RJD for the Medan candidate for Kusheshwar Astan and the chair of the Tarapur Assembly at the Bypolls to be held on October 30.
While the son of Ram Atirekh Kumar is a candidate for Congress for Kussheshwar Astan Sate, Ganesh Bharti deals with RJD symbols.
RAM then claims that Tej has promised to campaign for his son at Kusheshwar Stan.
Congress is the Ally of Mahagathbandhan or Grand Alliance.
RJD is the main partner of the Grand Alliance in Bihar.
Tiwari said in Hajipur on Wednesday that Tej Pratap had been banned from using the symbol of the RJD poll, Lantern, for his new student wings, Chhatra Janshakti Parishad.
He also said Tej Pratap was no longer associated with RJD.
“There’s no point in taking action against him when he has waved new clothes,” said Tiwari.
TEJ previously made his organization registered with ‘flutes’ as his symbol.
Chief spokesman for Parishad Chhatra Jansakti, Mohit Sharma, said TeJ was still in RJD.
“Some people try to create cracks in RJD’s first family by making such a statement,” he added.
Meanwhile, President of State President Parishad Pratap Pratap Yadav said the organization’s official, Sanjay Kumar, could oppose the Bypoll from Tarapur as an independent candidate.
Kumar is the president of the Munger Parishad division.
Taking a potshot at a spokesman for RJD, JD (U) Nikhil Mandal on Thursday tweeted, “Really, Baba? Why are you so calm? Tejashwi also maintains the silence (sic).”
