Mumbai: Assistant Police Commissioner decorated, Patil Sujata Police Mumbai, arrested by red hand by ACB who received RS 40,000 bribery in a trap placed by a person on Friday.
Anti-corruption official official said even though he was arrested by red hand, he was ordered under the prevention section of the Corruption Court.
He was not arrested for a trap on Friday, and according to the Supreme Court guideline, no woman to be arrested after sunset and before sunrise.
Patilhas is on the news for fasting such as Muslims during the holy month of Ramzan every year, and for his poetry, especially condemning the commemoration of Amar Jyoti Memorial during the Azad Maidan Riots in 2012, and recently promoted as ACP and posted in the Division Meghwadi.
The complainant has a gala 220 sq ft in Subhash Nagar in Jogeshwari, which he gave rent.
He took ownership at 5.
October ACB said Nita Mahadik and his colleagues broke the key and tried to take over Gala.
The complainant approached the police Jogeshwari on October 6 but they refused to register complaints, so he approached Sujata.
He demanded Rs 1 Lakh and received RS10,000.
He then approached ACB.
Sujata, after bargaining, lowered the number to RS40,000 and received the amount when caught.
“We will serve him notification on Saturday, catch it and produce it at the ACB Court.” ACB official said.
