Gandhinagar: After the recent confiscation of drugs is worth RS 21,000 Crore from Mungra Port, the Government Gujarat has reviewed the coastal security of the country and takes steps to overtake the incident.
Gujarat State Minister, Houses, Harsh Sanghvi, held a meeting with senior IPS officers and discussed issues relating to coastal security.
According to sources, the government has identified several short-term and long-term steps needed to strengthen security.
Speaking on that occasion, Sanghvi said, “Our police are very vigilant and therefore we can seize a large number of new drugs.
However, we want to further strengthen our coastal security.
CM has directed officials to immediately handle problems such as energy allocation Work, training, providing new boats with modern security systems and other infrastructure to improve coastal security.
“Coastal security is the main concern for the state such as in the past, during the attack of Mumbai terror, Gujarat Coast used by terrorists.
