The first phase of the MNLU campus will be ready soon: Minister of Edu

Nagpur: The construction of the first phase of Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU), which includes 13 buildings, remains incomplete due to lack of funds.
Completion of construction to start the class immediately requires RS 95 Crore.
The University Administration Meeting will be held in Mumbai immediately with the Minister of Finance Ajit Pawar to make funds available, said the Higher Education Minister and Technical Uday Samant.
Samant spoke at a review meeting held at MNLU in Waranga.
Vice Chancellor of Vijender Kumar University, Executive Engineer of Janardan Bhanuse Public Works, Ashish Dixit Registrar, Rangaswamy Stalin Registration Assistant, Special Operations Officer Ramesh Kumar, Ramesh Manapure, Professor Himanshu Pandey, PS Ahuja was present.
Samant added, “The first phase construction stopped due to lack of funds and every effort will be made to complete it as soon as possible.” Expressing satisfaction about the campus, he said that if the university construction was immediately completed, it would be very beneficial for the legal sector in Maharashtra.
Unfinished work includes a building of education, a building administration, two student dormitories, dining rooms and staff quarters.
He told that the funds to achieve this were being followed up at the government level.
“Funds issued by the state government are provided for district administration without delay,” he said.
Samant examined the progress of the construction of a new building in MNLU.
Kumar emphasized the need for the funds needed for the building unfinished.
