New Delhi: Somandanghan TV Finance Secretary on Saturday said that the center would ensure that the fiscal position remained stable even though there was expenditure on food subsidies and fertilizers and returning arrears associated with export incentives.
“We want to ensure that India remains in the fiscal stability zone and a macroeconomic economy, while also managing the requirements of the poor and vulnerable,” he told TI.
The Finance Secretary also understated concerns over Tanrum Taper, or the impact of the withdrawal of surplus liquidity in the advanced market, said the overall financial position in this country was much better.
“We don’t know the right time or details.
Because of high reserves, we are not in vulnerable situations like 2012-13.
Relative to others, our fiscal is very wise, we are a positive outlier now.
