Mumbai: Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), investigating cases of cruise ship cruise drugs, on Sunday arrested two vendors, including foreign nationals.
Both were identified as Shivraj Harijad (33), residents of Santacruz (West), and Nigeria National Okara Ouzama.
NCB claims that the name Darijan appeared during the interrogation accusing the Merchant Arbaaz and from Harijan they restored 62 grams of Charas near Rajesh Khanna Park in Santacruz (West).
NCB also restored the number of broker cocaints from Ouzama, said Sameer Wankhede, Zonal Director, NCB.
Wankhede, in a press release, said nine independent witnesses were involved in the overall operation of cruise ships, Manish Bhanushali and KP Gosavi among them.
None of the two were known by NCB officials before the attack on Saturday, he said in the release.
The Public Prosecutor Sethna told the holiday court that the investigation was at a newborn stage.
Harjian lawyer, Sandeep Sherkhane, told the court that his client was involved wrongly.
“NCB failed to show his relationship with Arbaaz traders accused of being together.
Harijian was picked up while he chatted with his friends.” The court granted Harijan’s foster right.
Ouzama will be produced before the court on Monday.
NCB claims that Harijan, and Nigeria Nigeria, is a drug supplier for merchants, and therefore they need to be questioned.
The NDPS court is likely to hear accused of the Bail Aryan Khan application on Monday.
