New Delhi: Delhi Police shot his broken fire, a sub-inspector with Haryana police, in Safdarjung’s bag on Sunday morning for a dispute regarding loans.
The defendant then handed himself at the police station.
The defendant, Vikram Singh, was posted at the Kailash police station larger for the past 2-3 years.
In February, Singh has saved the only person, including a 91-year-old man, from a residential building in a larger caulash that caught fire.
The police got a call around 8 in the morning about the incident happened in Krishna Nagar from Safdarjung’s bag.
A team reached there and found the victim, Virender Nandal (36), the native of Rohtak, died with a bullet injury in the head.
Nandal, who is also a judo player, lives in Singh’s house for the last 5-6 days.
The police had taken money from Nandal and asked for some time to return it.
However, the police said he was suppressed by his brother-in-law to return money.
DCP (southwest) Gaurav Sharma said, “During a fight, Nandal threw a violation to Singh.
The police then shot nandal with the service gun.
He then went to the larger Kailash police station and claimed to have committed murder.
His wife was sleeping in another room when The incident happened.
“The case under Indian Criminal Code Part 302 has been registered against Singh at the Enclave Safdarjung Police Station.
During the investigation, Singh told the police officer that he was disturbed by nandal people because he threw a violation to him and his family because of a loan.
“Singh reportedly told Nandal that he would sell his land in the village to pay for it, but he did not listen.
However, we investigated whether this statement was true or not,” said a senior officer.
Family members from the deceased claimed that Singh might have planned the murder.
An officer said they were investigating whether the victim was shot when he was sleeping.
Officers have no information about nandal participating in any national game.
