Ludhiana: Moving further tightens snare around the affair travel agent or deceiving innocent people with the pretext of sending them abroad, people can submit complaints with the work agency and business entity (DBEE).
Investigating further details, officers of the Manpower Generation of Ranjit Kaur said that DBEE has been designated as a nodal agent to handle complaints and ensure rapid action against the wrong travel agent.
He said that once the case of cheating was registered with any travel agent, the fir copy would be uploaded on the Ludhiana District Administration website www.ludhiana.nic.in.
He said that DBEE had made a nodal agent by the state government through the prevention of punjab from the 2012 Vague Regulatory Act / Punjab 2014 to register complaints about fraud related to foreign trips, foreign studies and employment.
He said a victim could file a written complaint with the DBee office, Partap Chowk, Ludhiana on any business day with his identity card from 9am to 5pm.
He said if there was a travel agent who worked without a license or expired license or an unregistered agent appearing for our notification, a FIR will be registered against the defendant in the coming of the police.
In addition, the copy of FIR along with travel agent information will be uploaded on the district administration website so that other people can know this.
