New Delhi: A 52-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly killing his wife and trying to continue as a suicide in the Kakrola area on 2.
Police October 2 said the murder occurred after routine quarrels between domestic partners.
The person arrested has been identified as Jasbir Arya, who lives with his wife Megha Arya on Vihar Day, Kakrola, near Dwarka.
On October 2, around 8 am, the police received a call about a woman “ended her life” at her in-laws’ house.
A police team that reached the point of discovering that Megha Arya lay in bed in subconscious conditions.
“He was taken to the Upadhyay Dayal Dayal hospital where the doctors declared him to die.
His father suspected playing cheating after what investigation was taken,” said a senior police officer.
The body was then sent for postmortem examination and the initial medical report revealed that the woman did not die because of suicide.
The doctor opened the cause of death as “asphyxia because of the compression of the neck structure as a result of the striking ligature with freezing efforts”.
“Furthermore, a murder case was registered against Jasbir Arya for killing his wife Megha Arya.
He then revealed that he killed his wife following a routine fight when he used to give the money gained hard to his parents without his consent.
He said he was too annoyed because there were too many Intervention from his parents in their routine life, and moreover, he cannot give birth to their child, “the officer said.
“He attacked his wife with my nunch, destroyed his head to the wall and then strangled him with the sheets,” the officer said.
