New Delhi: As a custom measure a few months before the announcement of the poll, the Election Commission has asked the government of the polls to rise, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Goa and Manipur to ensure that officers connected to the election are not posted in their home district or in place -The place where they have served for a long time.
The Commission on Wednesday wrote to the main secretary of five poll countries said that they had decided that no officers connected directly to the election would be allowed to continue in the district today, if he posted in his house.

The source said the EC will aim to resolve polls in all five countries in the second week of March, showing the possibility of an announcement of the assembly selection schedule around January 2022.
