Beijing: China on Thursday sent its first solar exploration satellite to space from the Taiyuan satellite launch center in North Shanxi Province.
The satellite was launched on a long March-2D rocket and managed to enter the planned orbit.
Ten small satellites including experimental satellites of an orbital atmospheric detection and the detection of the experimental satellite commercial meteorology also sent to space using the same carrier rocket, the Xinhua news agency managed by the state.
It was the 391 flight mission of the March Rocket Carrier series in March.
