New Delhi: Seas safe and safe cannot be preserved without strong maritime strength, the head of the US Navy Operations Admiral Michael Gilday said on Friday while describing the bond between the Indian and US navy as “unshakable”.
The top American naval commander made a statement on an event during a visit to the Western Navy command in Mumbai.
In his speech, Laksamana Gilday emphasized the need for the two navies to continue working together “hands-in-hand” to make “flare hopes for today and tomorrow”.
He said the “peaceful price and prosperity” maintained a watch that was alert, below and above the sea, according to the US Navy.
“Seas a safe and safe cannot be preserved without a strong maritime power,” said Admiral Gilday.
A visit to Mumbai is the last stop of a five-day Gilday trip to India.
“Our relationship is unshakable.
The US Navy is committed to maintaining a stable naval cooperation course and fosters the connection between our two navies.
I am committed to it.
Without a doubt, our greatest strength lies in unity,” he said.
The American Commander held talks with Deputy Admiral Day Kumar, Western Commander of Western Commander, where they discussed the fields to cooperate and reaffirm the level of collaboration and naval partnerships that grow between the two countries.
At the event, Laksamana Gilday said the two parties achieved high-end interoperability on all sides of the naval surgery, not only each other but also with other-minded partners.
“Our steady presence smits global trade equipment …
ensuring traffic is moving freely …
and prevents disruption in our digital infrastructure under the sea,” he said.
On Thursday, Admiral Michael Gilday hosted the Indian Navy Chief Admiral Karambir Singh and 11 senior senior military officials on board aircraft carriers Nuclear Carl Vinson in Bay Bay.
Nimitz class aircraft carrier is part of the spread of the US Navy in the second phase of ongoing Malabar exercises featuring the Navy from the four Quad countries – India, USA, Australia and Japan.
Exercise four days concluded on Friday.
