Chennai: V K Sasikala, aide near the Chairman of the Minister of Tamil Nadu Jayalalithaa, on Saturday visited the Latter’s warning at Marina in Chennai and paid for a flower tribute.
With AIADMK flag on his vehicle, Sasikala entered a warning in the middle of the song “AIDMK General Secretary of Thyaga Thalavi.” by supporters.
He wiped his tears while paying tribute to Jayalalithaa.
Sasikala stands in front of the warning for more than ten minutes.
Sasikala visited this Memorial last on February 15, 2017 before going to Bengaluru Prison to serve penalties in cases of disproportionate assets.
Since he was released from Bengaluru Prison in February, Sasikala was interested in visiting Memorial.
Then, talking to reporters near Anna Memorial, Sasikala said everyone was aware of her delayed visit to Memorial.
“I spent three quarters of my life with Amma.
Amma and I never left each other.
I turned off the burden of my mind for her five years,” he said.
Mgr and Jayalalithaa have lived their lives for party cadres, said Sasikala.
“I told him (Jayaalalithaa) things that have happened and there are a better future (for parties).
I went here in the hope that Amma and Thaivar would definitely save party cadres,” said the aide Jayalalithaa.
Sasikala stood near the former head of minister after Mgr’s death but briefly removed from the party in 2011 before being underestimated.
Senior AIADMK leader D Jayakumar said there was no room for Sasikala in AIADMK and taking control of the party would remain a daydream for him.
“He is one of the lakh people who visit the memorial.
It won’t have a big impact.
Let him swear, let him cry.
What should we do?” The former minister said, adding that Sasikala could win an Oscar award for his acting skills.
