Firozabad / Budaun: Six people, including two children, it is feared to sink on the river during soaking idols in Firozabad and Badun District Uttar Pradesh, while the body of a 12-year-old boy had been arrested from Yamuna, this Saturday official said.
The incident took place on Friday on the occasion of Dusshera, they said.
In Budaun, four were feared to have drowned in Ganga during Idol’s immersion, the official said.
There were six people, while two were saved, four were missing, they said.
Singh’s Senior Police Supervisor on Saturday said that the search was launched to track missing people.
In Firozabad, three people were lost during Idol Immersion in Yamuna, sub-division, conscious, Rajesh Kumar Verma, said on Saturday.
The body of the Gopal Rathor (12) was provoked on Saturday, while active search for Neeraj Baghel (11) and Vishal Mohalle (16), he said.
