While UGC was discussing with universities, the Ministry of Education also asked representatives of Chancellor from all central universities to plan FYUP implementation.
The Ministry of Education wants that the discussion will now begin at graduation 3 and 4 years and PG 2 others in all 45 state central universities, so the implementation process begins.

The ministry has said that this course is different from the 4-year graduation course which was introduced last time in 2013.
This time, many central universities will be permitted to run their regular 3-year graduation program.

Minister of Education Union Dharmendra Pradhan said that this time based on new education policies, there was a 3-year degree course, 4-year courses in alternatives, and also, the title program in the post-graduation 2 years and 1 year.
The minister told the Chancellor representative all the central universities that “you have autonomy about how to do this.

Next year, everyone must decide on their own process on this subject”.
