Chennai: The tiger child of a seven-month-old man who was separated from his mother was saved from the tea plantation in Valparai by the Anamalai Tiger Reserve (ATR) authority.
The child is healthy now.
Samasubramanian, Director of the ATR Field, told Ti by telephone that the tiger was injured in a meeting with a recent porch.
“The child tried to attack the porcupine who pierced his right leg which resulted in deep wounds.
Because of this, it cannot run normally.” Immediately after rescue, the veterinarian team examined the health condition of the child.
They said it struggled to defecate due to injury.
His wounds were treated with drugs.
The boy was first seen on September 28 and needed three days to catch him safely.
The net used to catch the Cub, which then shifted to the center in the Rottikadai area.
“This is where care is provided for children.
It takes at least four days for his child to be fine.
After treatment for a week, his child is fine,” Ramasubramanian said.
At present, the CUB has a weight of 80 kg, which is a normal body weight.
“It has started eating around 4 kg of meat and bones every day.
There is an increase in his overall health,” Ramasubamanian said.
