Kolkata: The meteorological department on Sunday said thick rainfall is likely to occur in West Bengal until October 20 because of the low pressure area above North Telangana and southeast wind from Bay Bay.
He advised fishermen not to explore the sea until Tuesday and warn the increase in water surfaces in the river, round in lowland areas and landslides in the Darjeeling and Kalimpong area due to rain.
