Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 191 new Covid-19 cases and 1 death on Wednesday.
The number of active cases in the state reaches 3,968.
The total number of cases since the beginning of last year’s pandemic, stood 6.69,556 and the Death Toll was 3,942.
A total of 162 patients were declared recovered on Wednesday, taking the total number of patients recovered to 6.61,646.
The case fatality rate (CFR) stood at 0.58 percent while the recovery rate reached 98.81 percent now.
So far 79.82 percent of the total cases in the state have been asymptomatic while 20.1 percent have flumed.
On Wednesday, 41,682 samples were tested for the novel Coronavirus.
Telangana has now finished testing 2.71 crore samples and has reached 7.29 lakh testing sample per million populations.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) recorded 49 cases on Wednesday, while Medchal Malkajirgiri neighbor recorded 10 cases, Ranga Reddy recorded 13 and Sanga Reddy recorded 2 cases.
Outside the city of Hyderabad and its edges, Karimnagar with 19 new cases recorded the highest number of cases.
