Hyderabad: President TRS and CM K Chandrasekhar Rao on Monday said he had never sunk after posting after his dream of a separate Telangana state was realized in 2014.
However, he took responsibility (cm post) to encourage the country to develop pathways.
CM also said he wanted to stay away from taking any political position after reaching Telangana.
“But, I took over as cm after several Telangana and intellectual leaders expressed concern with me that the problem would appear in a new state if the important CM post was given to new leaders who lacked knowledge about Telangana’s problems and experience,” he said.
KCR’s statement at a meeting at Telangana Bhavan came in the background of opposition parties repeatedly raises questions about him taking over as cm after Telangana became true seven years ago.
Former Minister and Leader Dalit Motkupalli Narsimhulu joined TRS at the meeting.
KCR said Telangana had reached several milestones and witnessed the development in the past seven years.
“We have discussed the issue of drinking water, electricity and farmers.
However, there is scope for development and we will continue to develop countries in all fields,” he said.
He also explained the problems faced during the movement of state and how he went to BSP Mayawati’s head 19 times looking for his party’s support for the cause of Telangana.
KCR said the Dalit Band scheme would be a role model for all countries.
He said Dalit Bandhu was not the election or political action and will continue until his last breath.
He said this scheme would be implemented at all costs.
He also said the bandhu scheme for BCS and poor in the top and others will also be implemented throughout the state.
