Burglar Nabs Shop Owner with CCTV Recording Help

Coimbatore: The shop owner has arrested a thief, who entered his shop in the sitra early on Tuesday, after he happened to see CCTV footage directly from theft efforts on his cellphone.
Saravanampatti police said the 32-year-old Siddiq, a citizen of Neelambur in the outskirts of the city, had installed CCTV cameras in sales shops and service services in the sitra and their cellphones were equipped to drain CCTV feed.
“When Siddiq examined CCTV’s pass on his cellphone at around 4:30 a.m.
on Tuesday, he found unknown people moving in his shop.
Immediately, he told his journalist friend and they rushed to the store.
Meanwhile, Burglar came out of the shop and take the city bus For Gandhipuram, “said a police officer.
Siddiq and his friend managed to ride the bus and arrest a thief.
He was then handed over to the peellamedu police.
Officers identified allegations of a 58-year-old Saravanan alias Murugesan, Indigenous Kovilpatti in the Tuticorin District.
A daily wage worker, he lives in a rental room at Ganapathy Ma Nagar in the city.
“Because he did not steal something from a shop, Saravanan was handed over to us, because he had stolen a laptop from the limits of our police station,” the officer said.
The Saravanampatti police have registered a case against Saravanan below, 454, 457, and 380 from Indian Criminal Code and arrested him.
He was then produced in front of Judicial Judge, who returned it in the custody of the judiciary.
